    • Ability to obtain California Food Handlers Certificate
    • Must be legally eligible to work in California
    • Ability to work minimum hours for: full time (32hrs/week) or part time (12hrs/week)
    • Prior commercial baking or kitchen experience highly preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepare and bake daily items (e.g., breads, pastries, breads, or other menu staples) according to established recipes and production schedules.
    • Prepare ingredients and recipes for other menu items such as sandwich fillings, in-house made syrups, garnishes, and more
    • Assist with prep work such as scaling ingredients, portioning, mixing batters or doughs, and labeling
    • Maintain high standards for product quality, portion consistency, and presentation
    • Follow food safety and sanitation protocols (proper storage, labeling, cleaning, etc.)
    • Communicate proactively with the team about ingredient needs, equipment issues, or timing adjustments
    • Support overall kitchen operations including cleaning, maintaining inventory, and organization

    • Starting salary: $23-26.00/hour before tips ($26-28 with tips), based on experience
