Ability to obtain California Food Handlers Certificate
Must be legally eligible to work in California
Ability to work minimum hours for: full time (32hrs/week) or part time (12hrs/week)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and explain key concepts of specialty coffee (e.g. coffee processing and varietals), coffee preparation (e.g. different brew methods), and the Moonwake coffee menu, vision, and mission thoroughly
Operate as front of house to greet customers, provide specific curated recommendations, receive and input customer orders, explain menu and answer questions
Demonstrate customer and teammate empathy, to proactively address others’ needs
Think two steps ahead to foresee and/or mitigate customer and team issues, needs, etc.
Prepare drinks accurately and efficiently according to recipe and process
Prepare espresso, pull shots, and steam milk
Carefully and precisely brew pour-over coffees, and present and explain coffees to the customer - demonstrating thorough understanding of coffee brewing, processing, and sensory attributes
Serve customer drinks to highest level of quality and hospitality
Maintain clean and organized workstation
